Bad Customer Service

Verifying my account has locked me out multiple times. Only 60 seconds to enter the 2 step verification and the code shows up at 59 seconds or after retrieving the code from my text messages the Ring app is frozen and will not let you enter it. When you call support, they have no other way to verify you and I was locked out of my cameras for 24 hours while I was traveling. What company can't verify you over the telephone? Ridiculous.

User's recommendation: Only have the code sent to email. Don't leave the ring app on your phone.

I agree with poor customer service. The customer service reps not only could not solve my issue they didn’t even know there own product!

I had sent Ring several emails with no response. I wanted to return my purchase but I would have to pay $25.00 for shipping, now I am stuck with my purchase.

Ring doesn't answer emails. Ring figures if they ignore emails from someone then that someone will go away. Most companies pay return shipping, but Ring does not. Ring is a lousy company to do business with. Affirm is easy to work with, I do not have a problem with Affirm, my apologies go to Affirm.

Ring doorbell 2 does not function properly

My ring doorbell drops out of Wi-Fi and after 2 days of hooking it back on it drops out again call for help they could not get it to hook up I have another doorbell which is farther away works fine after three calls they decided to send me another refurbished one which has a dent in it but still having trouble hooking it to Wi-Fi. the old one hooked up again to Wi-Fi but is not working properly it will drop out again .

Ring has to be one of the biggest Rip off of the homeowners due to the fact that they do not follow their own policy. If you buy one of their doorbell/cameras there is no charge for service but if you like many people have 2 doors on your home they want to charge you a monthly fee. If you do not wish to pay their fee due to the high price of their doorbell, they will screw with your phone or device that you are watching the outside on.

User's recommendation: Do not buy Ring products, avoid this company at all costs.

No complaints! The customer service representative was very courteous, patient, knowledgeable, and professional. The representative really seemed to care about my concerns and went out of her way to answer all my questions. By all accounts, I received excellent service. All of her instructions were extremely clear and easy to follow also!

Called to add subscription for recording to another device

A break in on the cars In my neighborhood. I didnt have recording on this particular device and it turned out to be the one that would have shown the criminals. Customer service helped me added it immediately without problems.
